Yesterday Dan and I took a day trip on a bus to Christiansburg. It was just about and hour drive and by the looks of outside, spring is near. The branches of the trees are forming leaves and are blossoming little flowers.
We were let off at a park and ride parking lot, not much around it but car dealers and a restaurant. Went to the restaurant to ask where Main Street (downtown was) the guy at the front told us there is not much there and directed us to the North River Valley Mall and said that's were all the action is. We took a Uber there and was let off at the entrance. Dan and I headed in and walked around. The mall was quite large and had a coffee shop in the middle with a fireplace. That is where we hung out until we left to take the bus back.
When it was time for eating, it was hard for us, for there were no organic restaurants around, just fast food ones.
When we have a proper ride (car) we may go back to explore. After, when I got home, I checked google and saw that there are different things that we could of seen, so maybe next time.
