ANOTHER DAY IN BROOKLYN

Two more days and off to Mexico after enjoying the time with our daughter. Today we spent some time just strolling through the streets of Brooklyn. The weather was gloomy and rainy, but that did not stop Dan and me from taking a stroll in the park.

Brooklyn is a big area of New York and we just explored a small area close to where our daughter lives. The area I found had a lot of organic foods and restaurants. This morning we went to this quaint corner restaurant and I had an egg with turkey bacon and cheese, while Dan had an egg wrap with hot spice. This area is not lacking in organic foods.

Our daughter’s boyfriend, Justin made us dinner tonight, it was a treat ~ lamb chops and roasted vegetables. The atmosphere was amazing while we listened to Beatle music and ending the evening with desert and coffee. I did not want the evening to end, but like all beginnings there is always an ending. I felt honored to have had this time spent with two wonderful people.

Getting ready for our trip to the hospital for some tests and then from there on to the area we are going to move. We

Just washed and dried our clothes and packed them since we are going to leave on Easter Sunday. Dan and I are going to celebrate the holiday with our daughter and her boyfriend on Saturday evening, then off to the airport at 3:30 a.m.

I want to wish everybody a Happy Easter and will get back to you all the first part of April. Until then be happy and enjoy life…

BEEN AWHILE

Hello, I just thought I would write a little of how I am feeling. I am in New York visiting my daughter before we make the move to Mexico. I am looking forward to an adventure and learning new things.

I have been enjoying visiting with my daughter and her friends. I am so proud of her, she has grown up to be a person that is certain of her future and I know she will go far. Dan and I for a couple of days spent time with family up in the mountains, which was so peaceful and snow white. We met with some friends and enjoyed their company.
HERE IS A MOVIE AND PICTURES OF THE WHITE SNOW AND DEER.

Now Dan and I now are just resting for, in three days we are off to Mexico. I will continue with how our home treatments are doing along with our in lives in a foreign country. As I experience the day by day life in Mexico it will be posted with pictures and sites. I am looking forward in sharing this experience for I want to show people that Mexico can be safe and is a great place to live……

GROWING UP MEANS

Growing up means learning what life is. When you're little, you have a set of ideals, standards, criteria, plans, outlooks, and you think that you have to sit around and wait for them to happen to you and then life will work. But life isn't like that, for anybody; you can't fall in love with a standard, you have to fall in love with a person. You can't live in a criteria, you have to live your life. You can't wait for your plans to materialize, because they may never materialize the way you think they will. You can't wait to watch your ideals and standards walk up to you, because you can't know what's yours until you have it. I always say, always take the first chance in case you never get a second one, but growing up takes that even one step further, growing up means that you have to hold on to what you have, when you have it, because what you have- that's yours- and all the ideals and criteria you have set in your head, those aren't yours, because those haven't happened to you.
