Turmeric can be taken in powder or pill form. It is available in pill form in most health food stores, usually in 250-500mg capsules.

Once you start using turmeric on a regular basis, it's fun to find new ways to use it in recipes. My favorite way to use it is to add a pinch of it to egg salad. It adds a nice flavor and gives the egg salad a rich yellow hue.

Contraindications: Turmeric should not be used by people with gallstones or bile obstruction. Though turmeric is often used by pregnant women, it is important to consult with a doctor before doing so as turmeric can be a uterine stimulant.

“Despite the public’s support and growing interest in nontoxic, noninvasive alternative approaches, the medical establishment has waged a fierce campaign against such therapies, labeling them quackery.... Official medicine pours billions of dollars into narrow research supporting chemotherapy, radiation and surgery as the major weapons in ‘the war on cancer.’ That war has been a total failure in slowing the death rate... “‘Everyone should know that the “war on cancer” is largely a fraud,’ wrote Dr. Linus Pauling, two-time Nobel Prize Winner. Another Nobel winner, Dr. James Watson, codiscoverer of the DNA double helix, put the matter more bluntly. Watson served for two years on the National Cancer Advisory Board. Asked in 1975 what he thought of the National Cancer Program, he promptly replied, ‘It’s a bunch of shit."4

Dr. Hardin Jones, Professor of medical physics at the University of California at Berkeley, analyzed cancer survival statistics for 25 years. In 1969, at an American Cancer Society (ACS) meeting, he said that untreated patients do not die sooner than patients receiving orthodox treatment, and in many cases they live longer. This negative assessment was subsequently supported by three other studies done by other researchers. No study has ever refuted these findings.5

A group of vested, interlocking interests preserve the status quo in cancer treatment and research. This group includes the ACS, National Cancer Institute (NCI), large pharmaceutical companies, and some insurance firms, hospitals, and medical schools, according to Richard Walters, author of Options: The Alternative Cancer Therapy Book. He asserts that this “medical cartel” is headed by the American Medical Association (AMA), “a trade union with an extremely powerful lobby.” According to Walters, the AMA represents less than half the allopathic (conventional) doctors in the U.S., yet has a stranglehold over government American health care policies.

Over the course of time, the AMA has denounced midwifery, selfcare, optometry, homeopathy*, osteopathy, acupuncture and lay analysis as being dangerous, fraudulent, or both.

* A long-established medical profession in Europe

In 1987, the AMA was found guilty of restraint of trade in a “conspiracy to destroy and eliminate” the chiropractic profession, a legitimate competitor. Chiropractic physicians still have reporting requirements which allopathic physicians do not. The AMA continues to stage campaigns against alternative methods and doctors.
In 1953, U.S. Justice Department lawyer Benedict Fitzgerald led an investigation into the cancer industry. The investigation concluded that the AMA, NCI and FDA had entered into a conspiracy to promote radiation, chemotherapy and surgery, while suppressing promising therapies that were highly praised by the cured patients themselves. What was the government’s response? Fitzgerald was fired.7


Here are some things to think about when pondering having surgery. The September 22, 1986 issue of “Business Week” noted that surgery, radiation and chemotherapy all tend to fail for a very simple reason: a tumor the size of your thumb has one billion malignant cells in it. Even if a treatment gets 99.9% of them, a million remain to kill you.8

"An operation on a bad malignant case is a very [great] matter. Sometimes one gets a blaze up of toxaemia.... Further, cancer has very frequently spread far beyond the reach of operation and the operation shock hastens the spread of the [cancer] virus and the death of the patient.”9
How about lymph node surgery, in an effort to remove every cancer cell? Patrick McGrady of CANHELP says: “Even though it’s been proven conclusively that lymph node excision after radiation does not prevent the spread of cervical cancer, you will still see lymphadenectomies performed all over the country routinely. This despite the fact that lymphadenectomies make women feel so bad they wish they were dead – and are a proven useless procedure.”


“The majority of cancers cannot be cured by radiation because the dose of X rays required to kill all the cancer cells would also kill the patient. 11

Dr. Robert R. Jones, 1980: “Many radiation complications do not occur for several years after treatment, giving the therapist and the patient a false sense of security for a year or two following therapy...the bone marrow, in which blood cells are made, is largely obliterated in the field of irradiation.... This is an irreversible effect.”12

Dr. Lucien Israel, consultant to the NCI, said in 1978, that people who undergo radiation therapy are more likely to have their cancer metastasize to other sites. Other studies have supported this view. He also stated that the radioactivity intended to kill cancer cells can, instead, trigger mutations that create new cancer cells of other types.13

According to several clinical trials and a study published in “The Lancet,” a British medical journal, radiotherapy [radiation] following breast surgery increases death rates.14

Early studies at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center In New York showed that radiotherapy was deadly and that patients who received NO radiation lived longer than those who were irradiated.15

Dr. Irwin Bross, former Director of Biostatistics at Roswell Park Memorial Institute, said in 1979: “For 30 years radiologists in this country have been engaged in massive malpractice.” It should not surprise us that Bross was unable to get funding to research what he calls “doctor-caused cancer” from radiation therapy.

If these studies and quotes are true, why does your doctor continue to recommend radiation? We’ll get to that in the last part of this report. In the meantime, he or she certainly knows about the side effects, which include severe, prolonged immune deficiency (which leads to contracting other kinds of illnesses), and chromosomal damage, both of which can result in later cancers. These are not “side effects,” these are PRIMARY EFFECTS. Radiation can also cause nausea, vomiting, weakness and fatigue (to the point where some patients become bedridden), sores or ulcers, bone death following irradiation of the mouth, welts and extensive burns of the skin, rectal ulcers, fistulas, bladder ulcers, colitis, and even the swelling of a tumor after a large dose of radiation, which is especially dangerous for brain tumors. If these “side effects” were caused by an herbal treatment, a homeopathic one, or any alternative treatment, do you think the treatment would be approved by the FDA and the AMA?

Dr. William Kelley, developer of an alternative, metabolic treatment: “Often while making a biopsy the malignant tumor is cut across, which tends to spread or accelerate the [cancer] growth. Needle biopsies can accomplish the same tragic results.” Surgery to remove the tumor can do the same thing. Dr. Kelley advises using homeopathic treatment to 16 render the tumor harmless before attempting surgery.


“The cancers from which most people die – the big killers like breast, colon, and lung cancer – generally do not respond to chemotherapy. Chemotherapy has only a limited effectiveness against any tumor that is large or has spread; its successes are generally with small, very early tumors. Several studies indicate that chemotherapy has no survival value in breast cancer.”17

Most cancer patients in this country die of chemotherapy. Chemotherapy does not eliminate breast, colon or lung cancers. The fact has been documented for over a decade.... Women with breast cancer are likely to die faster with chemotherapy than without it.”18

Dr. John Cairns says that chemotherapy at most prevents “perhaps 2% or 3%” of the cancer deaths each year. If 19 you have been diagnosed with cancer, find out if your type will be hurt or helped by chemotherapy. (See Resources)

Ulrich Abel, Ph.D., of West Germany, did a comprehensive study on chemotherapy. In 1990 he wrote, “There is no evidence for the vast majority of cancers that treatment with these drugs exerts any positive influence on survival or quality of life in patients with advanced disease.” He stated that although chemotherapy does shrink tumors initially in many patients, unfortunately this did not prolong survival because the cancer usually returned, often more aggressively than at first. In Abel’s poll of hundreds of cancer doctors worldwide, he discovered that many oncologists would not take chemotherapy themselves if they had cancer. Publicity about Abel’s research was completely suppressed in the U.S. (So much for freedom of speech in the media.)

Dr. Levin, at a national conference on medical abuses, said: “Practicing physicians are intimidated into using regimes which they know do not work. One of the most glaring examples is chemotherapy, which does not work for the majority of cancers. Despite the fact that most physicians agree that chemotherapy is largely ineffective, they are coerced into using it by special interest groups which have vested interest in the profits of the drug industry.” (More 20 on that, later.)

In the meantime, chemotherapy continues, despite the fact that ALL chemotherapy drugs are toxic, and many are themselves carcinogenic.

Where is the logic in using cancer-causing drugs to fight cancer? Where is the logic in suppressing the body’s mechanism for fighting disease – the immune system – in order to fight disease? According to statistics about treatment results, there IS no logic. It doesn’t work.

“The ‘proven’ methods of toxic chemotherapy, carcinogenic radiotherapy [radiation] and surgery are a failure for the majority of patients. The death rates from the six major killer cancers – cancers of the lung, colon, breast, prostate, pancreas, and ovary – have either stayed the same or increased during the past sixty years.21

The overall, age-adjusted cancer death rate has RISEN by 5% since the “war on cancer” began, and this is despite earlier detection.22

Before you agree to chemotherapy, surgery or radiation, contact some of the consumer groups listed at the end of this report. Get some second opinions about the effectiveness of these choices for your specific kind of cancer.

Most technological cures for cancer, for example, were found to be carcinogenic themselves. Because such unexpected side effects have required additional ‘technological fixes,’ we now find ourselves in a spiral in which technological applications are piled one atop another, with no end in sight, and no cure for the patient. The chemical-mechanistic paradigm* has failed, and a medical revolution has begun.... Many physicians are reexamining and applying therapeutic techniques that were previously discarded as ‘unscientific’ by academic medicine. The use of foods, herbs, meditation, and acupuncture are only a few examples. This radical change in medical practice is deeply rooted in ancient concepts of life, energy, and medicine, and it includes a reaffirmation of the innate healing ability of living things.”23

* This idea states that people are machines: if a part breaks, you fix that part. The paradigm does not take into account the rest of the body, or the effects of lifestyle, mind, emotions and spirit on health.

Sugars are poison to the body


Sugars are poison to the body, just as chemo is poison; both decreases the body's ability to fight cancer. How can healing occur when the body is caused to weaken; it cannot begin to heal when poisons are present. Cancer grows when fed sugars; yet in cancer centers throughout the U.S. cancer patients are fed sugars during treatments and advised to eat more sugars at home; in order to increase body weight. This practice is absurd and dangerous.

We must look closing at research and as we do we discover, cancer as it grows and takes over the body will eat whatever it needs to survive and overcome the body. A major source as cancer progresses is its consumption of glutamine from the body's muscle mass; this is the reason for many patients to appear thin, the muscle mass is being consumed. Sugar and carbs will not put back the muscle mass, it is a clear warning to caregivers the cancer is advancing. Glutamine should be taken in order to keep the muscles healthy while fight cancer and all processed sugars need be removed from the diet.

We must understand our bodies need some source of sugar, however, this type of sugar is a food source, a whole food the body recognizes. You may get this in your healthy organic diet, fruits, vegetables, honey, etc, all whole foods, all created by nature and recognized by the body as a whole food source and the sugars are processed as nutrients.

9 Easy Ways to Go Organic on a Budget

Are you looking to add more organic foods to your diet, but are concerned that the additional costs will increase your grocery bill by epic proportions? No longer relegated to the “natural” section of the grocery store, organic foods have become mainstream, making it easier than ever to include organic foods in your cart while still sticking to a budget.

Here are my favorite strategies to help you shop smarter for your own health, as well as the health of the planet:

1. Go Generic. Nearly every major supermarket chain now carries its own line of USDA certified organic foods under their own private label, so look for it the next time you’re in your favorite grocery store. This not only saves you the cost of an extra trip to a more upscale market or a separate natural foods store, but it can cost significantly less than other organic brands.

2. Buy the Whole Bird. Instead of buying thighs or breast separately, buy a whole organic chicken and ask the butcher cut it up for you; in some stores, buying a whole organic chicken can cost the same amount as two large chicken breasts! You'll save money on your sandwich the next day, too; tuck leftover roasted chicken into a whole grain pita with a half-cup of fresh veggies, and you’ll pack in organic protein while spending significantly less than buying pre-cut deli meat.

3. Be Picky About Portion Size. At the meat or fish counter, it is standard practice to tell a customer to estimate 6-8 oz per person when determining how much to buy. Stick to 3 oz per person instead and cut your “main course” bill in half instantly. You can then use the extra savings to buy organic meat or poultry instead (currently there are no organic standards for fish). Enjoy those 3 oz portions with an abundance of whole grains, vegetables and a side salad for a hearty meal that still leaves everyone satisfied.

4. Browse Big Box Retailers. Many people are surprised to learn that everyday staples such as organic milk, yogurt and produce are available at big box retailers, making these items more within the reach of everyone at a good price. And many of the companies who supply these chains offer downloadable coupons on their websites, saving you even more at the checkout counter.

5. Fill Up on Frozen. The freezer case is one of the best bargains in the supermarket when it comes to organic; stock up on your favorite frozen organic fruits and vegetables (with no added sauces or syrups) for baking, smoothies, soups and side dishes. The added bonus? Frozen fruits are on your schedule, meaning there’s no risk of costly spoilage.

6. Skip the Salad. As a dietitian, I love to encourage people to fill up on foliage, but salad greens are the number-one food item that gets thrown out because of food spoilage. According to a 2007 UK report, a shocking 48% of all salad Brits bought was thrown away. If you're someone who commonly has spoiled produce in the bin, save money by skipping organic lettuce and buying something heartier instead, such as organic sweet potatoes or frozen broccoli.

7. Bulk Up. If your favorite grocery store has them, bulk bins are one of the best places in the supermarket to save money while still buying organic foods. Stock up on the organic versions of some of Dr. Oz’s favorite good-for-you staples like brown rice, bulgur, quinoa, teff and more.

8. Love Those Legumes! Dollar for dollar, meat, fish and poultry are some of the costliest calories in your cart. Serving delicious vegetarian meals two nights a week is not only an easy way to help you lose weight and improve your health, it also allows you to free up more food dollars to put toward organic options. Use your favorite organic canned beans (rinse first to remove excess sodium) for a satisfying soup, or save even more by soaking dried beans or lentils overnight. Sprinkle beans with organic taco seasoning for delicious Southwestern bean tacos that will even have carnivores asking for more.

9. Pass on Organic Junk Food. Just because it’s organic doesn’t mean it’s healthy! Organic soda, ice cream and potato chips, for instance, are still high calorie splurges that can pack on the pounds and pad your grocery bill. Make sure at least three-quarters of your cart is loaded with minimally processed foods that look as close to their natural forms as possible.

HEALTH TIP: Sugar is *NOT* your friend. It may “feel like” your friend when it comforts you (due to the beta-endorphin rush in your brain), but sugar is actually your enemy. Truth be told, regular consumption of sugary foods is one of the worst things that you can do to your health. Modern scientific research has shown us, beyond any shadow of a doubt, that sugar in your food (in all its myriad of... forms) is taking a devastating toll on your health.

American children are consuming about TEN TIMES as much sugar as they were in 1900, especially in the form of high fructose corn syrup (HFCS), which is the average American’s largest source of calories! Highly addictive HFCS contains fructose and glucose, but they are NOT bound together (as they are in table sugar) so your body doesn’t need to break it down. Therefore, the fructose is absorbed immediately, going straight to your liver, which turns it into FAT (VLDL and triglycerides).

Some of you will be eating eggs over the Easter weekend so I thought I'd post ten health benefits of eggs (and it doesn't count if they were chocolate eggs!)

1. Eggs are great for the eyes. According to one study, an egg a day may prevent macular degeneraton due to the carotenoid content, specifically lutein and zeaxanthin. Both nutrients are more readily available to our bodies from eggs than from other sources.

2. In another study, researchers found that people who eat eggs every day lower their risk of developing cataracts, also because of the lutein and zeaxanthin in eggs.

Health Benefits of Carrot

                              CARROTS NEED LOVE TOO~

The health benefits of carrot include reduced cholesterol, prevention from heart attacks, warding off certain cancers and many others. Most of the benefits of carrot can be attributed to its beta carotene and fiber content. This root, which has a scientific name of Daucus Carota, is a good source of antioxidant agents as well. Carrots are rich in vitamin A, Vitamin C, Vitamin K, and potassium.
Both adults and children like carrots because of its crunchy texture and sweet taste. Even though the color of original carrot is orange it grows in other colors including white, yellow, red or purple.
The health benefits of carrot include the following:
  • Prevent heart diseases: In a study meant to reveal therapeutic value of carrots researchers at the Wolfson Gastrointestinal Laboratory in Edinburgh, Scotland revealed that cholesterol level reduces by 11 percent if seven ounces of raw carrots a day is taken for thee weeks. High cholesterol is a major factor for heart disease. Since regular consumption of carrots reduces cholesterol level it is good to prevent heart related problems. A group of Swedish scientists discovered that root vegetables can reduce the chances of having a heart attack. A study conducted at the Mario Negri Institute of Pharmacological Research in Italy found that those who ate more carrots had one third the risk of heart attack as compared with those who ate fewer carrots.
  • Prevent cancer: Beta-carotene consumption has been linked to reduced risk of several cancers, notably lung cancer. British researchers discovered that increasing beta-carotene consumption from 1.7 to 2.7 milligrams a day reduced lung cancer risk more than 40 percent. The average carrot contains about three milligrams of Beta-carotene. In a study, researchers found that eating fiber rich carrots reduce the risk of colon cancer by as much as 24 percent. Another study shows that women who ate raw carrots were five to eight times less likely to develop breast cancer than women who did not eat carrots.
  • Macular degeneration: This is a common eye disease of elderly. It impairs the macula. Researches found that people who ate the most Beta-carotene had a forty percent lower risk of macular degeneration compared with those who consumed the least.
  • Improves eyesight: Deficiency of vitamin A can cause some difficulty seeing in dim light. Since carrot is rich in vitamin A it is good for improving eyesight.
  • Stroke: A carrot a day reduces stroke risk by 68 percent. Many studies have strengthened the “carrot effect” on brain. Studies conducted on stroke patients revealed that those with highest levels of Beta carotene have the best survival rate.
  • Diabetes: Carrot is good for blood sugar regulation because of the presence of carotenoids in carrot. Carotenoids inversely affect insulin resistance and thus lower blood sugar.
Carrots have antiseptic qualities and therefore, can be used as laxative, vermicide and as remedy for liver conditions. Carrot oil is good for dry skin. It makes the skin softer, smoother and firmer. Carrot juice improves stomach and gastrointestinal health

Why one-third of hospitals will close by 2020

For centuries, hospitals have served as a cornerstone to the U.S. health care system. During various touch points in life, Americans connect with a hospital during their most intimate and extraordinary circumstances. Most Americans are born in hospitals. Hospitals provide care after serious injuries and during episodes of severe sickness or disease. Hospitals are predominately where our loved ones go to die. Across the nation, hospitals have become embedded into the sacred fabric of communities.

According to the American Hospital Association, in 2011 approximately 5,754 registered hospitals existed in the U.S., housing 942,000 hospital beds along with 36,915,331 admissions. More than 1 in 10 Americans were admitted to a hospital last year.

Mammograms cause breast cancer (and other cancer facts you probably never knew)


Breast cancer is the leading cause of death among American women between the ages of 44 and 55. Dr. Gofinan, in his book, Preventing Breast Cancer, cites this startling statistic along with an in-depth look at mammographic screening, an early-detection practice that agencies like the American Cancer Society recommend to women of all age groups. According to most health experts, catching a tumor in its early stages increases a woman's chances of survival by at least 17 percent.


Does Sugar Feed Cancer?

Does sugar feed cancer? Well, yes and no. Um, OK – yes.
All cells use sugar – aka glucose – for their primary fuel source, so sugar does indeed feed all cells. But if you’ve ever had a PET scan, you know that before you get your scan, you get to drink a lovely shake of radioactive glucose or get an injection of a similar concoction. Cancer cells are very greedy; they like to gobble up glucose much more quickly than non-cancerous cells, which is why the cancer cells light up on the screen during your scan.

All carbohydrate-containing foods contain sugar to some degree. So this means even healthy foods like whole grains, beans, fruits, and even vegetables contain some sugar. The glycemic index basically tells you how fast a particular food will raise your blood sugar level. For instance, we know refined/processed foods like white sugar, white bread, and white rice are high glycemic foods, but so are healthy foods like watermelon, dates, and potatoes. The glycemic load of a meal takes into account the whole meal. Sometimes eating higher glycemic foods along with lower glycemic foods can blunt the rise in blood glucose when eaten together.

Why is your blood sugar level a concern? Because your body produces insulin and insulin-like growth factor-1 (IGF-1) whenever your blood sugar level rises. We know insulin helps regulate blood sugar, but did you know insulin is also a growth hormone? So is IGF-1, which reacts in response to insulin production. So more sugar eaten = more insulin produced = more IGF-1 produced = more cancer cell growth. Yikes! In fact, IGF-1 has been found through a number of studies to play a big role in promoting breast, lung, prostate, and other types of solid tumor growth. IGF-1 has a growth-promoting effect on almost every cell in the body especially in muscle, bones, liver, kidney, nerves, skin, lungs and blood. IGF-1 also affects the DNA synthesis within these cells.

If you have an advanced cancer, you need to be even more aware of your blood sugar level since rapidly growing cancer cells consume more glucose to keep up with their growth spurt. And if you are on chemotherapy, high levels of insulin and IGF-1 can play a role in blocking chemo activity making cancer cells less responsive to chemotherapy. If you have a hormonal cancer such as breast, endometrial or uterine cancer, then IGF-1 is also a concern as estrogen receptors on cancer cells can be stimulated by IGF-1. IGF-1 has even been found to interfere with the effectiveness of the drug trastuzumab.

What can you do about it?
1. Plant in your mind that plants are best! A plant-based diet lowers your daily glycemic load so less insulin and IGF-1 are produced in response to your blood sugar level. A diet chock full of veggies, whole grains, nuts, beans, legumes, and fruits will not raise your blood sugar as much as a diet full of white stuff like white sugar, white rice, white bread, etc. Foods that grow out of the ground are naturally low in sugar and high in fiber. Fiber helps to slow the release of sugar into the bloodstream, resulting in the production of less insulin and IGF-1. Now here’s the kicker: switching to a plant-based diet will help you to cut back or eliminate animal foods, which will lower your IGF-1. Your body naturally produces IGF-1. We need this growth hormone for – you guessed it – growth. As babies, we need IGF-1 to help us grow, but then stop drinking mother’s milk. Somewhere along the line, humans began drinking animal milks that also contain natural IGF-1. Americans love milk and cheese and yogurt and ice cream … you get the picture. IGF-1 in animals is identical to IGF-1 in humans, so the more we consume dairy, the more we consume IGF-1. IGF-1 is also in animal meats and fats. Eliminating red meat, poultry and dairy will significantly help reduce your IGF-1.

2. Stop eating junk! Cut out refined and processed foods and stick to stuff Mother Nature made. No more candy, soda, white bread, white rice, ice cream, or even white potatoes. Switch to whole grains like brown rice, quinoa and steel-cut oats. Choose starchy veggies like sweet potatoes, Yukon Gold potatoes, squash and pumpkin.

3. Watch your sweetener intake. No more high-fructose corn syrup, evaporated cane juice or dextrose. While you’re at it, cut out artificial sweeteners like sucralose, saccharin, aspartame and acesulfame potassium. If you must sweeten your foods or if you like to bake, try stevia leaf, brown rice syrup, agave syrup or maple syrup in small amounts – less than five teaspoons per day.

4. Get moving! Exercise helps to lower blood sugar levels by sensitizing cells to insulin and helps them take in more glucose for fuel rather than letting glucose float around in the blood where it can do damage. Exercise also helps lower IGF-1 by increasing a binding protein that acts like a magnet to IGF-1 and makes it less available to cancer cells for growth.

5. Know your numbers. Ask your doctor to check your fasting blood glucose, insulin and IGF-1 levels. Most doctors would consider a normal glucose level to be between 70-100 mg/dL, but new evidence has suggests that glucose between 70-80 mg/dL is optimal. Levels above 100 mg/dL might indicate prediabetes or even full-blown diabetes. Insulin can help your doctor check for insulin resistance. Insulin should be between 5-20 microunits/mL. Anything above this could indicate insulin resistance. Optimal IGF-1 levels are based on your age and sex. Laboratory results will show your ideal range. Your level should be in the bottom half of that range.

Its 4:10 in the morning and I have something on my mind. Don’t you hate that? I had this conversation the other day with a friend regarding our foods we eat. I need your help with this topic and would like to know what your take is on this~~~~

The conversation included that, how do we know if it is really our food we eat that is killing us with cancer? I explained to her that the food industry is putting substances in our foods that are dangerous to our health. My friend agreed that they are now just finding out that some of it could be harmful, but then in another sentence she replied how do you know that is what caused my cancer. I used the theory of cigarettes and lung cancer to foods and cancer. With that, my friend states that she could not put it in the same category. It was like talking to a wall, and all I could do is drop that conversation and start up another.

I guess what I am asking you is what is your opinion? Do you think our foods are harming us and would you take action to change it if you could?

There is another topic that is consuming me and that is choice. I did not get a choice from the doctors here in the states as far as treatments. The only option was surgery, chemo, radiation and I took another step to go out of the safety zone of my doctors. If you had or have a choice of options regarding cancer treatments would you use other means that are not so invasive?

Hot dogs: The Cancer Prevention Coalition recommends that children should not ea...t more than 12 hot dogs per month because of the risk of cancer. If you must have your hot dog fix, look for those without sodium nitrite listed among the ingredients.

Processed meats and bacon: These meats almost always contain the same sodium nitrite found in hot dogs. You can find some without nitrites, but you'll have to look for them in natural grocers or health food stores. Bacon is also high in saturated fat, which contributes to the risk of cancers, including breast cancer. Limiting your consumption of processed meats and saturated fats also benefits the heart.

Doughnuts: Doughnuts contain hydrogenated oils, white flour, sugar, and acrylamides. Essentially, they're one of the worst cancer foods you can possibly eat. Reader's Digest calls doughnuts "disastrous" as a breakfast food, and many experts agree it's probably one of the worst ways to start the day.

French fries: Fries are made with hydrogenated oil and fried at high temperatures. Some chains even add sugar to their fry recipe to make them even more irresistible. Not only do they clog your arteries with saturated fat and trans fat, they also contain acrylamides. They should be called "cancer fries," not French fries.

Chips / crackers / cookies: These generally contain white flour and sugar as well as trans fats, but it's not enough to simply look for these ingredients on the label; you have to actually "decode" the ingredients list that food manufacturers use to deceive consumers. They do this by hiding ingredients (such as hiding MSG in yeast extract, or by fiddling with serving sizes so they can claim the food is trans fat free, even when it contains trans fats (the new Girl Scout cookies use this trick)

Environmental Toxicity

"Did you know that 95% of all cancers are caused by diet and Environmental Toxicity ? Not surprising when you consider that the United States produces more that 80,000 different chemicals..... We also allow more than 10,000 chemical solvents, emulsifiers, and preservatives to be used during the "processing" of food."

Is it all right to commercialize CANCER?


Is it all right to commercialize CANCER?  WHY is it that we believe that the foods on the shelves at the grocery are safe?  We need to open up our eyes and connect the dots!  As a whole we need to research what is in our foods and realize what is harming us, I think we are~ our worse enemy.

A car which requires clean oil and gas to run properly starts to sputter when filthy components of these are mixed into its makeup. Our bodies begin to sputter or disease takes hold when the fuel or food we consume is processed or chemically polluted.  We consume everyday legal doses of processed foods that can kill an army by diseases.  We need to be more alert with what we feed our children and ourselves.  The future depends on saving our environment~ the soil is being polluted with chemicals that effects the roots of  the crops.  The water that we drink is also being polluted with chemicals.  We were not created to live with chemicals within our bodies, yet we consume them daily.

]I would love to hear from you, with feedback on what , as a nation we should do.  Everyone is worried about wars amongst countries, but not paying attention to the one that is effecting us most ~ THE WAR ON FOODS.

What is Hyperthermia Perfusion?

It is a technique that has been developed by Vera Lopez a perfusionist with 34 years of experience in the United States and Mexico. Vera's procedure is unlike any other hyperthermia treatment.
