NATURE HEALS ALL

Today I strolled along a trail that was very relaxing and peaceful. The nature in a park can heal, keep you healthy and also can provide many benefits, such as exercise and meditation. The sounds of the birds and the water running can help you meditate your inner self while breathing the fresh air among the flowers that are blossoming and watching butterflies that flicker around you.

Next time you feel stress or feeling blue take a stroll in a park and admire the beauty of nature. Be part of it and try it; you might like it.

Here are some pictures of nature that I put into a meditation video.

HOW NATURE AND OUR LIVES CAN CHANGE IN A MINUTE.

HOW NATURE AND OUR LIVES CAN CHANGE IN A MINUTE.

WHILE RELAXING AND HEALING MYSELF FROM CANCER, I TOOK A TRIP TO VISIT MY DAUGHTER. THIS WAS A MUST NEEDED TRIP! I LEARNED HOW OUR LIVES AND NATURE HAVE SO MUCH IN COMMON. WE CAN CHANGE IN A HEARTBEAT. THE WEATHER WAS UP AND DOWN, JUST LIKE HEALING CAN BE. THE TREES THAT LINE THE HIGHWAYS WHICH RUN ONE AFTER ANOTHER ALTHOUGH ; APPEAR SIMILAR, EACH HAVE THEIR OWN PERSONALITY MUCH LIKE SEEING MASSES OF PEOPLE IN A CITY STREET. EVERYONE HAS A PERSONALITIY AND WE HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO SEE THIS IF WE TAKE THE TIME. LOOK ALL AROUND YOU AND YOU CAN SEE WHAT I MEAN BY THIS. I STARTED OUT WITH GREAT WEATHER AND ENDED UP WITH RAINY AND STORMEY WEATHER, SOMETIMES MUCH LIKE HOW WE FEEL. I WAS ABLE TO SEE THE BEAUTY THAT SURROUNDS US, THE TALL MOUNTAINS AND TREES AND THE OLD BUILDINGS THAT WERE MADE FROM STONE AND THE CHARACTER THAT WAS PUT IN EVERY STONE. I WAS ABLE TO SEE CREATURES UP CLOSE AND HOW THEY CAN BE CALM AND PEACEFUL.

IT IS NOT JUST US THAT CHANGE, BUT OUR ENVIRONMENT THAT CONTINUES TO CHANGE AND GROW THROUGH OUT THE YEARS. WE NEED TO STOP AND SMELL THE ROSES AND EXPERIENCE WHAT WE ARE GIVEN AND ENJOY THE SMALL THINGS THAT ARE ENJOYABLE BEFORE WE ARE UNABLE TO.

PEACE AND LOVE.
ENJOY THIS SMALL VIDEO OF NATURE

ON MY WAY HOME

ON MY WAY HOME

While on my way home from an awesome stay with family, I would like to take the opportunity to thank the Campbell family for an amazing time. It was nice to bond with family and be able to spend time with them

.
The mountains were breath taking, I was in my glory! I hated to leave for it was refreshing and energizing, but one must get back to reality. I have spent some time while driving to take pictures of the trip back to Florida. I felt instead of writing about it; why not have you see it through my camera. Enjoy and close your eyes and imagine you are in the car with me looking at all the wonderful blessings we have.

As we go down the highway, trees surround us in layers. What came to my mind consisted of hundreds of different personalities. They were like living creatures that have a unique way about them, Next time you are standing in the way of a tree; check out the branches and leaves. Look at the way it glows in the sun light and when the wind blows throughout its trunk.
Enjoy until next time.

ENJOYING GODS COUNTRY

ENJOYING GODS COUNTRY

Relaxing is what the doctor ordered for my healing process. What can be a better place to relax and be up high with the clouds and nature, but in the Catskill Mountains of New York and the wild of Maine? We visited relatives and have been able to experience the real true nature that was given to us to enjoy. From the pure joy of the mountains to nature’s adventure, we have it all up here. The breath of healing the pure air longs over me with enjoyment and pleasure. The roads wind through the mountains while the wild creatures of nature are larking in our every move. This is Gods country here with peace and wonder of the beauty that we were given to enjoy and experience.

I am in a dream, not knowing when I am going to awake up, I would love to continue this dream and never leave the place that I am at. I have taken pictures of the surroundings that I have crossed through the adventure that I have experienced. Who said that just because one has cancer or had cancer that they can not enjoy the world around us. It is a small world and one need to experience what we have to enjoy and it is free to see, although it takes a little bit of money to get to them. Take the time to smell the roses. The pictures speak for the pleasure that I have been experiencing the past week.

THANK YOU TO MY FAMILY ~ DANIELLE, ROBBY, PAM, GINNY AND SKIP FOR TAKING CARE OF US FOR THE MONTH.

THE WEEK WENT BY SO QUICK

THE WEEK WENT BY SO QUICK

It’s been a week with my daughter and already I have to say goodbye. She has amazed me and now I know she is on her own. She the southern Floridian can handle the big city and the subway and is on her way up toward success in life. I couldn’t be more proud of her.

It has been an adventure I must say this past week with all the site seeing we did. Who said that you can’t see things that do not cost. The city parks are so scenic with flowers blossoming all about while walking is still free to see all of NEW YORK CITY.

The last day my daughter took us around her little neighborhood. We started at the farmers market, and then went to the flea market and from there to the park where we just chilled out. I napped and watched my daughter sketched. Enjoyed every minute of the time I had with her. IT WAS A GREAT HEALING PROCESS!

I created another silent movie of the streets of Brooklyn and the sites that I encountered while here on the last day.

STROLL IN THE PARK KIND OF DAY WITH A LITTLE NIGHT EXCITEMENT

STROLL IN THE PARK KIND OF DAY WITH A LITTLE NIGHT EXCITEMENT

Brooklyn has some peaceful and relaxing parks. Today we just strolled on down to the neighborhood park and explored. It’s like a dream coming from the city full of green grass and lots of shade. The leaves were floating in the wind and it was a very relaxing kind of day.

After the morning walk to the park and a little nap on the meadow of grass it was time to take the subway to the Bronx for the evening Yankee game. It has been an adventure exploring areas that we have never seen before. New York is such a big place that it would take several months to explore the whole city. My daughter has lived there for more then two years and still goes exploring different sites.

Well, back to the Yankee’s they won!!!!!!

Check out my silent movie of the wonderful stroll in Prospect Park and the Yankee game.

WHAT A BEAUTIFUL DAY

WHAT A BEAUTIFUL DAY

Today we ventured into the city; just the two of us. We live in a world that is so fast pace, just yesterday we were in GODS world Central Park and today we are taking the subway to stroll down the sidewalks of Greenwich Village. If you have never been there, they have the most beautiful parks and gardens throughout the town.

We where sitting down for lunch at this organic pizza restaurant waiting for our lunch, when we saw the new Freedom Building ~ this is where the Trade Center once was. After lunch we started to stroll toward the financial district along the river walk. Enjoy this silent movie of the beautiful day that I encountered.

JUST WHAT THE DOCTOR ORDERED

It is really nice spending time with my daughter and being in her world. Went into the city with her the other morning to see where she works. I was so proud of her accomplishments. All the hard work paid off.

While she was working, Dan and I decided to spend a peaceful day in Central Park. We had six hours to stroll through the park and have a picnic with the leaves blowing and nature all around. This was the first time that Dan and I have spent in the park to do some soul searching. We have been in Central Park twice before, but did not realize how huge it was. There is so much to see and so little time to see it all, however we did manage to see one third of it. I was so impressed with the fact that it had an organic food cart. Perfect, I was able to eat something in New York City that was organic and cheap. Dan and I got a special ~two organic hot dogs with organic sweet potato chips and water for only $11.00, that’s a deal.

The day was nice except for a little rain, but we didn’t have to spend any money except for lunch.

Here’s a silent movie of our day in Central Park, Enjoy until tomorrow from Greenwich Village.
