2017 Calendars

Since I was treated six years ago, from cancer, I have been educating on one big key to a successful healthy life, YOU ARE WHAT YOU EAT.  Through my knowledge and learning from experts, I created a web site for the after care of any disease.  After all it all starts with your immune system and its what kind of foods that you fuel your bodies with.  So, I wanted to do something fun and at the same time be able to reach people.  Every week Dan and I go to an organic market to buy our products, while I pick them up my imagination becomes the best of me.  I come home and reorganize them on the table after cleaning them and make faces out of them.  For you see what you eat creates the cells that are being rebuilt, therefore that's what your face becomes.

I have created a calendar for 2017 with faces made out of my food that I purchase at the organic market.  This is in hopes to educate people while making it fun.  If you would like I am taking orders, just message me.

Hello, I am very concerned when I see and read daily posts of people suffering and dying of cancer.  It is hard when it affects you personally as to watch your family members go through this very same tragedy, so many I cannot count by hand.

I remember almost six years ago today that I was told that I had breast cancer and the protocol they spoke to me about.  I had to stop and think and say to myself there has got to be a better way to fix this issue.  Through several hours of research by my husband and myself, we realized there are other options out there; however, they are not covered by insurance.

Per the insurance companies the options are experimental and are not proven.  I bid them wrong, for there are studies out there regarding the type of treatments I have had, but the FDA does not want to see them.  To me the drugs and trials they are using are experimental and are affecting people with side effects.

Through my treatments, I have learned that with cancer we have to maintain by an aftercare.  For both my husband and I were Dx with cancer, we have challenged ourselves to a better life change.  One important key element that I gained was that disease cannot be when your immune system is strong.  With any disease, it all stems from your immune system.  The first issue my doctors addressed in Mexico was to build up my immune system.

The other options were how to fight what was attacking my body and through the knowledge of my Mexican doctors, that would be heat and oxygen, which kills cancer cells.  Cancer cells are smart so you have to use surprise by attacking them in all directions. Another type of treatment was taking my blood and multiplying my T cells and putting them back inside me, which acts like an army conquering the cancer cells.

I was afraid of cancer, but knowing that I can maintain myself without side effects and live a quality of life I no longer fear it.  I embrace the challenge to prevent any cancer cells that may be growing inside me by the life change that I committed myself to six years ago,

These days my husband Dan and I are Functional Medicine Counselors to a clinic, which one of the doctors that treated me continues to treat patients.  I am very humble to be able to give back the knowledge of spreading that there are other options out there, so do not give up hope.

I have created a web site with not only the treatment options, but the aftercare, which leans into another web site about how beneficial the right foods are for us.

Another key element is that processed sugar and wheat, cancer feeds on.  We as individuals need to be aware of what we eat and put on our bodies.  We live in a high-tech word, not like our grandparents lived in where everything was natural

Most Bottled Water is Filled With Fluoride, Here’s a Complete List of Brands to Avoid

The senior study author Philippe Grandjean claims that the reason for this is the toxic effects of fluoride on the developing brain.

– In 2016, an estimated 1,685,210 new cases of cancer will be diagnosed in the United States and 595,690 people will die from the disease.

– The most common cancers in 2016 are projected to be breast cancer, lung and bronchus cancer, prostate cancer, colon and rectum cancer, bladder cancer, melanoma of the skin, non-Hodgkin lymphoma, thyroid cancer, kidney and renal pelvis cancer, leukemia, endometrial cancer, and pancreatic cancer.

– The number of new cases of cancer (cancer incidence) is 454.8 per 100,000 men and women per year (based on 2008-2012 cases).

– The number of cancer deaths (cancer mortality) is 171.2 per 100,000 men and women per year (based on 2008-2012 deaths).

– Cancer mortality is higher among men than women (207.9 per 100,000 men and 145.4 per 100,000 women). It is highest in African American men (261.5 per 100,000) and lowest in Asian/Pacific Islander women (91.2 per 100,000). (Based on 2008-2012 deaths.)

– The number of people living beyond a cancer diagnosis reached nearly 14.5 million in 2014 and is expected to rise to almost 19 million by 2024.

– Approximately 39.6 percent of men and women will be diagnosed with cancer at some point during their lifetimes (based on 2010-2012 data).

– In 2014, an estimated 15,780 children and adolescents ages 0 to 19 were diagnosed with cancer and 1,960 died of the disease.

– National expenditures for cancer care in the United States totaled nearly $125 billion in 2010 and could reach $156 billion in 2020.

Sadly, recent stats say that around 1 in 2 men and 1 in 3 women will develop cancer in their lifetimes.
This truth is even tougher to swallow when you realize the way we “treat” the disease is not only ineffective but makes the symptoms of the disease worse.

Berkley doctor Hardin B Jones who is a former professor of medical physics and physiology claims that chemotherapy doesn’t work and it is a hoax in the billion-dollar cancer industry. He claims that the only reason the doctors prescribe chemotherapy as a treatment for cancer it’s because of the money they get.

The fact that an average cancer treatment costs somewhere between $300,000 and even up to $1,000,000 makes his statement more reasonable.

Based on his research in the last 25 years Dr. Jones has come to the conclusion that chemotherapy does more harm to the patients than actually treating the cancer.

He says that people who refuse chemotherapy treatment live on average around 12 years longer than people who accept the chemotherapy treatment, most patients undergoing chemotherapy die in time frame of 3 years since they are diagnosed with cancer and some much faster than that (within few weeks since being diagnosed.) He also claims that patients with breast cancer who reject treatment live four times longer than those who undergo chemotherapy.

America spends $8,713 per capita on healthcare, more than any other high-income nation in the world and their life expectancy is only 78,8 years. This Is mainly due to the fact that the media and the healthcare system in general focus way more on treating diseases and conditions that actually teaching people about the importance of preventative medicine. That is why we need to educate ourselves about treatments and cures for different diseases and conditions.

Having a healthy diet, exercising, not stressing out and enjoying life are great for improving our health and living a longer and happier life.

Three weeks ago, Dan and I visited a clinic of which we have now become functional medicine counselors.  I was blown away with the program and was reunited with several people that were working where I was treated six years ago.  Dan and I are very humble to be able to continue to be part of these wonderful people.

We got together with Daniel, who was the fabulous chef that cooked organic foods for Dan and I when we were being treated, along with Monica who also worked as a dietarian.  They took us to this little fishing village where Monica would go with her family for breakfast.  This was a treat for we never have been to a fishing village in Mexico, nevertheless for breakfast.

The experience was something from a movie, as we were watching the fishermen bringing in their boats with different kinds of sea life and displaying them for people to eat.  There was this fisherman that had just brought aboard some giant crabs, it just happened that we walked by him and Daniel asked if we would like this for breakfast.  Dan and I were just amazed with the size of theses crabs; we went over and shook the leg of this one crab that was moving.  Thanks to Monica for taking the pictures so we can look back at this enjoyable day.

While they were preparing our crab, there was a table of clams and oysters that we passed.  Monica asked if we would like to try one of them, of course you know Dan would not pass this experience up.  Monica would pick one up and like weighed it in her hands to see if it was a good one.  A lady would pry it open and chop the meat inside and made an instant ceviche with tomatoes, onions, cilantro and if we desired some spice.

They grilled the crab on the grill with just a little bit of butter along with a red snapper all dressed up with chopped tomatoes, onions, and herbs.

When we were served, the waitress gave each of us a wooden cutting board along with a big rock.  Dan and I looked at one another wondering what to do next.  We have had crab at restaurants where they have given us a tool to crack it open and get the meat out.  But never did we ever get a rock to hit the legs to break it apart to get the meat out.  It was fun for the table kept going up and down while we were trying to break the crab apart.  I would suggest anyone to try this experience for if you are angry at something or someone this would get all your frustrations out.

I would love to thank Daniel and Monica for this wonderful experience and for their friendship.  They were there for me when I needed support as I was being treated for functional medicine when I had cancer.  Who would of thought that going to Mexico would be the best experience of Dan’s and my life.  Living here has made me feel full and having cancer made me realize that if I did not have it these amazing people would have not been in my life.  They say everything happens for a reason, I believe in this for I have been blessed with friendship, knowledge and good times.
