THE GREATEST GIFT OF ALL IS LOVE

Its Saturday all,

The sun is trying to shine right now, regardless I’m not going to let a little gloom ruin my day.  Its Dan and my 33rd day of enjoying our new surroundings, our apartment.

What were you doing last night?  Well, we had a date night with our grandson, it was story telling with his grandparents.  Thank goodness for Zoom and Epic, while using both, the night was a success.  Interacting from afar is a gift in its self and being able to connect through the computer seconds it.

As a child growing up Catholic one of the first things learned from the religion class is - 1 Corinthians 13 Love Is the Greatest Gift

Love is patient and kind. Love is not ·jealous, it does not brag, and it is not ·proud; conceited; puffed up.  Love is not ·rude, is not ·selfish, and ·does not get upset with others. Love does not ·count up wrongs that have been done. Love ·takes no pleasure in ·evil but rejoices over the truth.  Love patiently accepts all things; or always protects, always hopes, and always endures all things.

Love never ends. There are gifts of prophecy, but they will be ended. There are gifts of speaking in different language, but those gifts will stop. There is the gift of knowledge, but it will come to an end]. The reason is that our knowledge and our ability to prophesy are not perfect we know in part/imperfectly and we prophesy in part/incompletely.  But when perfection comes, the things that are not perfect will end. When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I stopped those childish ways. It is the same with us. Now we see a dim reflection, as if we were looking into a mirror, but then we shall see clearly face to face. Now I know only a part, but then I will know fully, as God has known me, I am fully known. So, these three things continue forever: faith, hope, and love. And the greatest of these is love.

So, today Dan’s love, we set to keep writing this blog through the love of the passion – HEALTH.

During this corona virus outbreak our immune system plays a great big part of fighting this fight.  For many years since Dan and I was diagnosed with cancer, our first lesson was how to keep our immune system up.  We had the best of doctors from Mexico teach us the importance of the immune system.  Through the website and blogging, I share the knowledge and the experiences we faced.

A Weakened Immune System Leads to Cancer...

A Strong Immune System Seeks Out and Destroys Cancer Cells

For most of your life, your immune system successfully fought cancerous cells, killing them as they developed. That's its job. In fact, the only job Natural Killer cells have is to kill cancer cells and viruses. For cancer to develop, your immune system must either be worn out, ineffective, unable to kill cancer cells as fast as they normally develop, or you must be exposed to a mass of cancer causing toxins, radiation or some such thing, that increase the rate of development of cancer cells to an abnormally high level that your immune system can't handle.

Either way, it is vital to strengthen the immune system in your battle against cancer. Especially if you are getting medical treatments that wipe out your immune system.

Many natural supplements support the immune system. This is why so many of them are touted as being able to help you beat cancer. If someone has an immune system that is almost able to handle the cancer, even a poor immune system supplement can be enough to improve the immune system to the extent that it beats cancer.

THE ROOT OUR ENVIRONMENT

Before we can begin, we first need to know the meaning of the word root. It’s the base, foundation, basic part, basic element of anything. We all know this as a part of the body of a plant that develops, typically, from the radicle and grows downward into the soil, anchoring the plant and absorbing nutrients and moisture.  To a human, it is our immune system. The immune system is a system of many biological structures and processes within an organism that protects against disease.

We all come to the understanding that one is born into this world and also know that we leave this world.  However, the key to all of this is the quality of life one enjoys during the time on earth.  The big picture to all of this is how we play this with our environment.  Our immune system detects how we exercise the activity of our everyday life’s.

It’s the environment that kills us.  Pollution, the food (chemicals, GMO’s processing), water we drink, stress, lack of exercise, which can affect our DNA. What is our DNA? The nucleic acid that is the genetic material determining the makeup of all living cells and many viruses.

So, it is our choice to create around us an environment that is a safe lifestyle.  You need to create an area of less pollution.  You need to eat organic foods which do not have GMO’s and chemicals.  You need to test the water you drink. You need to practice mediation and be around nature with plenty of sunshine for vitamin D. You need to walk, dance, or be involved in the community.  All of the above’s you need to do, will keep your immune system healthy, which will give you a better quality of life.

In my writings later, I will explain how important pollution, food, water, stress, and exercise can make a healthy lifestyle which will give us quality of life.

This is what Functional Medicine does, it gets to the root (the cause) so that we can live a quality of life and a healthier immune.
